Welcome to A New Veteran® (“A New Veteran,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website located at anewveteran.org and any related pages, forms, scheduling tools, donation pages, and online services we provide through the site (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing or using our Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are
A New Veteran® is a nonprofit organization created to support veterans in understanding and accessing governmental and nongovernmental benefits, while offering guidance, advocacy-centered support, and community-based resources. Our website includes information about our mission, services, appointments, donations, contact forms, volunteer opportunities, and intake processes.

2. Eligibility and Use of the Site
You may use the Site only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or are using the Site with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We strive to provide support with dignity, honesty, and clarity. However, use of this Site does not guarantee that you will receive services, benefits, grants, appointments, volunteer placement, partnership approval, or any specific result. Government agencies, nonprofit programs, and third-party providers determine their own eligibility requirements, timelines, decisions, and approvals.

5. Appointments, Forms, and Communications
Our Site may allow you to submit intake forms, volunteer forms, partner forms, contact requests, or appointment requests. By submitting information through the Site, you agree that:

6. Donations
The Site may allow users to make charitable donations to support our mission. Donations are voluntary and, unless otherwise stated, non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law. A New Veteran® will make reasonable efforts to use donations in furtherance of its nonprofit mission, but reserves the right to apply donations where needed most unless a restricted donation has been expressly accepted under separate written terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that your donation information is accurate at the time of submission.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, logos, graphics, images, videos, page layouts, downloadable materials, and branding elements, is owned by A New Veteran® or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A New Veteran®, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us through the Site in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless A New Veteran®, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
